Education Sector

According to the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency (ZIMSTAT) census 2022, Zimbabwe’s population is estimated at 15.1 million, with more than 6 million children of school going age. This growing population has not been matched with the required school infrastructure, including classrooms and accommodation. Tertiary students in Zimbabwe, have resorted to renting privately owned buildings to increase their campus spaces. Opportunities also exist to establish schools for individuals in the diaspora who prefer to have their educated in Zimbabwe. Furthermore, Zimbabwe has few Vocational Schools that make is possible for post-secondary school students to develop formal skills in a specific industry. Zimbabwe’s education sector presents vast opportunities for investment in infrastructure, energy, transportation and other industry related services.
